I’m excited to announce a new intimate workshop program focused on helping kids with an interest in herbalism, gardening, and crafting – the Budding Herbalist Program. The program will run September through December, with another session beginning in January, running through May. Click to learn more!

We will learn how to prepare for market, and we will also dedicate time to care for the plants — singing to them, cutting them back, weeding around them. We will observe as the herbs change throughout the seasons, making note of them as we develop our relationship to them.

Meeting every Thursday from 3:30-5pm, we will focus on the interests and passions of the apprentices, allowing everyone to delve into the magical world of the plants and herbs. Depending on the weather and the group interests, we can craft and bake; harvest and weed; exploring our relationship to our herbal allies. Each class will build on what we have learned and focus on the interests of the group.
