Dear mom—-
Another sunny day…..
I am playing a lot of ball in the backyard. I am too happy and tired to bother my cat sister:-)
I miss you.

Our litter box is clean. We love love the greenies. Not a big fan of the organix chicken so we will just be a bit finicky today because we are and we can. And hi from us.
We like hanging out in your office while you’re away:-)

What’s this mom?? Oh my!! New tennis balls and a lax stick? For me???
Gotta go now— I want to run and play. I get to do this all day. Lucky me!!!

We are not sure what to make of this day but No complaints here— we got our favorite pate with a little coconut oil on top, clean litter box, a couple extra greenies. What’s up with today?

Just a quick hi to say that this day keeps getting better and better!!! I had friends over to play and tomorrow the Goldens are coming back!!

We made 7am breakfast reservations and ordered up the chicken plate with a side of kibble. We left a furrball in the tip jar.

Hey Blair, I play outside everyday if you were thinking maybe not today with the rain. I want to show mom when she gets home how good I am getting at catch. I catch them in the air; I block them; I get them when they slip past me— I can’t get enough play time in each day. Can we go out now?

The Goldens are nice, mom, we had a short play date, but they don’t like chasing balls like I do. The more I run after the balls, the more energy I get. And I’m all about moving my body hard and fast— I know you know that about me. Soo fun!!! So I asked Blair for more tennis ball drills and I kind of did my own thing while the Goldens were here.

FYI— We both got very wet and cold- thoroughly soaked- and needed towels to dry off. I got a treat And she made herself a warming tea. We are both quiet and happy now. It is shaping up to be an indoor day.

Good morning mom!
Another wet cold drizzler of a day. After going out, I get to paint again. Blair says it is more creative than ripping up the piece of cardboard on the deck into tiny pieces. I’d argue that is art too!! She agrees…sort of.

And sister here has picked out the piece she thinks we should buy. I agree. She’s a good artist mom! I want her art on my kennel wall 🙂

We both are interested in watercolor water in her paint box more than the water in our bowls. We like the muddy reds and greens but she will not let us drink it, we can only look. Maybe today when she’s not looking.

Btw— when are you coming back?? I mean how many days past this new moon?? Cuz, I miss you!

Good morning mom—

Plant starts here—-We are alive! We stare out the window daily! And today mom?? It is spectacular!!! Sunny warm and ideal for dreaming.

We are growing and blooming and top heavy. Our roots feel pinched in these tiny pots. The sun is shining and our hearts are aching to be outdoors with our toes tickling the worms and microorganisms. We dream of the day you will take us to our forever home.

You call it a garden?? And it’s just for us?? Yipppee!! You’re the best!!! We will wait for you.

Dear mom-
Is today the day you come back to me? Us?
There is a lot of tidy up energy around here lately— lawn people came last night and someone is here cleaning up the kitchen and bathrooms. Blair made the bed with fresh new sheets and put the other linens in the laundry room and I hear the machines going and feel.. well…lots of activity in preparation for your return, but thankfully my tennis balls are left out all over the yard. Blair knows we don’t have to clean up everything, right? We want it to look sparkly but my toys are my toys, right?

The cats are doing ok— they said they have a clean litter box and are almost out of those greenie treats. Btw, why does my cat sister feel that she can try to sneak in and get some of my meal while I am under the sit and wait commands? I’m going to go after her next time- just sayin.

We already played hard this morning mom. Nice day out. Please don’t make me clean up my outside toys. I expect more playtime throughout the day and to be nicely worn out by the time you come in tonight.

Yesterday afternoon, Blair had work in Denver and her meeting kept going and going. She let me know (and the neighbors) so I was cool with that and she left before it was fully over to get back to me but it was dark and maybe I was a little worried (and getting hungry). Anyhow, I ate well and had a great day with visits from Goldens!!! Everyone loves me mom.

It has been one large play date over here. I’ve had a great week and I can’t wait to see you.

Hi Mom—
I brought in a vole for Blair and she raised her voice at me mom. I was just trying to thank her for all the love she has given me. She seemed upset. Did she call you? I hope you tell her that was my way of letting her know I love her. Did you mention to her I like baby bunnies and snakes too?

Hi Mom-
I tried to jump up on the dining room table but my claw got stuck on the table cloth and I almost made a huge mess, mom. I mean the candle sticks and all your work papers were headed to the floor but Blair saw it coming and saved the day. I don’t like getting in trouble mom. I try my hardest to find healthy indoor outlets for my energy. But the dirt in the planters is fun to dig in. I know it stresses the plants but it is fun. And can you Please tell her I am allowed up on the couches and beds. Thanks and have a great trip!!!
