I’ve done this Vocal Journeys classes before, but each time I think about what I want out of this performance class and step up on stage – I get to meet a new aspect of myself.

This time I was invited to open the show before 11 other singers. We each sang two songs to a packed house of an audience of 200. It is an exhilarating feeling to put so much time perfecting a performance, but then letting go to keep it fresh. Trusting that it will all come together and whatever happens, happens. It is all about the self-care, stretching, and being vulnerable. But the post-show bliss is undeniably electric. It keeps me coming back for more!
