This is a place that lives so deeply in my being that I painted it from my imagination about 5 years ago. I spent a lot of time here fishing, sitting on the edge of the water finding salamanders and turtles, and walking around the trails. It has been 28 years since I had been back so my excitement was hard to contain. It did not disappoint! I got to see and enjoy the most spectacular fall colors while hiking around and to the top of Mt. Equinox.

Every summer I participate in a landscape painting retreat. Painting has become more and more important to my self-care practice of slowing down, tuning in, and observing the world around me while nurturing my relationship to color, beauty, and joy.
I encourage you to check out Jennifer Thomson’s art retreats and consider purchasing some of my notecards this holiday season – available this season at holiday markets and directly by emailing blair@blairsherbals.com
