Below is a podcast that I was invited to participate in. I would like to invite you to listen, and then, if you are so moved, to connect with me about the content.

Here is the backstory:

I met Sarah, the interviewer, a few years ago at one of the one-day health fairs in Hygiene where I was giving short Reiki sessions. She moved East and I didn’t hear from her again until she called to tell me that she wanted to interview me for the podcast channel she was starting. She said her show is called “Ordinary people doing extraordinary things”. “Umm. Thanks, but I think you might have the wrong person”, I said.

But I told her that I would give it some thought. My offerings are not “neat and tidy”; besides, I really don’t listen to many podcasts so I would be really nervous and not know how to prepare. I said as much as I think it would be awesome and I would love to be a guest, I’m so deep in my own process…maybe it’s not a good idea.

But she persisted: “Your struggles and vulnerability are ordinary and what you are doing with your situation is inspiring and I want you to share your story with me.” I sat with that for a minute and then said yes. What do I have to lose? It is just another experience. I can do this. Oh shit—what did I just say yes to? But if not now, when? My busy mind kept me up at night.

The first time jitters are finally gone. Maybe I’ll do another podcast someday… it was kind of fun. I hope you will find something in this hour that speaks to you.

I’m now back in Boulder. I have housesitting gigs through May 1 and looking for a long term one in May and June in the Boulder area. If you are thinking of traveling and I can care for your house, plants and pets, please keep me in mind.

Blessings,
Blair

I enjoy offering feedback/ guidance for your business projects and personal expression too. Certain practices continue to be pillars of strength for me.
