Will I Be OK?

I listen to this question a lot. I can’t answer it — I just listen to the tone in the asking. Only God or maker or the Divine or whatever power/energy larger than yourself you believe in can bring you that inner peace and bring you closer to your own truth and acceptance. What I can do as a volunteer with LifeSpark is offer a quiet place for dropping into a space where you can access more authentically your own answers — a space that disappears in the chaos of the treatments and in the collective fears reflected back by family and friends.

Being a LifeSpark volunteer is incredibly rewarding. It is also God’s work. It is not easy to be on the other side of someones reality. When the question comes up will I be OK? The obvious answer is of course. It is not mine to determine. Not mine to weigh in on. Universal truth is that we are all ok.

It is ok to go through the portal of death. It is ok to stay in the body and experience what we experience—the joys, the pains and the longings for things to look a certain way. All part of the human condition apparently. But that is not always what is defined loosely as reassurance. And, so we circle back to presence. To the simple but most assuredly difficult task and practice of coming home to oneself. Especially difficult in the midst of a health crisis or challenge.

If you are in a period of transition or challenge – please reach out. I work closely with you via remote Reiki sessions to help you find balance and to tap into your deep presence. Let’s schedule a session!
