It’s gratifying that people enjoy my various self-care products. I started making my own balms and salves a few years ago to support my healing journey, and I created Blair’s Herbals because I wanted ultimately to support and empower others to do the same–introducing Blair’s Herbals Lip Balm and Dream Pillow Kits, with Soap Kits coming soon!
Back in the day before huge corporations, of course, making your own products, from cleaning to self-care, was the norm. My kits are for those interested in reconnecting with that DIY culture as it relates to self-care products and in the process connecting to the plants and the natural world in exciting new (and old!) ways. Easy-to-follow directions come with each kit, and I have created supportive online instructional videos as well.

Lip Balm Kits
People of all ages (especially children!) love to create their own delicious and healthy lip balms. The kits come with two scents; some popular combinations include orange-vanilla-peppermint; chocolate-vanilla-orange; lavender-clove, just to name a few possibilities. Another idea is to invite the ladies over and have fun and enjoy a simple practical craft night!
Dream Pillow Kits
The kit includes everything needed–calming and relaxing herbs of rose, lemon balm and lavender, needles, thread, fabric–to create an intentional pillow. Special order herbs for better sleep or to remember your dreams. This is great for girls and young teens. Perhaps they envision a sleep over birthday party. This craft can keep them busy right up until bedtime, and then they can take their newly sewn pillows to bed! It is also a great activity for seniors who want to keep their hands busy. Filled with Rosemary, these pillows can support memory and they are comforting at night.
Soap Kits — Coming Soon!
These kits have glycerin melt-and-pour soap base with a choice of two scents, and a fun animal mold. Melt on the stovetop in the ball jars (included) and fill the molds. Also included is cosmetic safe micas sparkles for decorating. Have fun making soaps that will make your bath times fun and memorable. Long lasting and moisturizing. Refill soaps are available for continued enjoyment.
Kits are great to have on hand for rainy day family gatherings, holidays and to have handy for gifts. They are appropriate for all ages with adult supervision. Enjoy!
